Correct hydraulic oil for dampers - and jacks?

Can anyone advise the correct viscosity of hydraulic oil for lever-arm dampers - and jacks?
I've previously used Comma jack oil for both, but my local supplier insisted that Kerax Hyperdrive KX+ was the same. Applications listed on the back are forklift trucks, exavators, etc, but it says nothing about dampers or jacks. It's listed as ISO32, which I've found means it's 32w. viscosity.
I'm less concerned about using it in my Morris dampers, because they've been disabled through the removal of the valves for use with telescopic dampers, and so act only as top suspension mounts. However, I wonder if it would be too thick for my small trolley jack?
I've contacted the manufacturer but they've not deigned to reply!
