Hello. I have blue smoke from my exhaust. I know its caused by excess oil being burnt. I have an small oil leak from the manifold to downpipe connection and where the exhaust clamp meets, small amounts of oil can be found around it. Any suggestions.?.

Is it just when you start the car, or continually smoking?

A smoky exhaust is usually a sign of cylinder bore or piston ring wear. Compression test would be useful. If you get a low reading which increases after putting a teaspoon of oil down the plug hole and re-testing suspect worn rings. If not, maybe valves sticking or leaking. Presumably the car is using a lot of oil?
