Hello,

Does anyone have any handy tips for getting the front hubs back on?

New bearings just fitted and so not too keen on my usual go-to of hit it with a hammer - it just needs a bit of "persuasion"!

Many thanks

Provided the shaft and inner part of the bearings are clean and burr free, the hubs should be a good fit and able to be pushed on.

Are they good qualuty correct bearings? as above, if all clean then a push should be all that's needed.

As the other replies, re the hub, but a suggestion to the OP: Promote the mallet to your ‘go-to’ tool instead of a hammer.

There are not many tasks that actually require a hammer.🙂
