A+ engine oil pressure gauge fitting.

Need to fit the above to my newly rebuilt A+, and unsure if it is indeed possible?
The oil port (below the Filter) is very close to the starter motor, so my plan was to fit a copper (Midget) feed pipe from this to a Tee piece to join the remote feed to the gauge, and also the oil light switch.
Problem seems to be that the switch has a tapered BST thread which I assume will/may not seal the joint in the straight thread Tee piece?

Having recently finished the build I did connect it up as above ON THE BENCH to check oil pressure, and when turning over with the starter motor, it was fine.

Anyone else tried this? If so, is it possible to buy a Tee with tapered female thread?

The thread in the block is a straight/parallel thread whilst the 'T' piece is tapered.
This is normal and it will seal.
It is exactly the same as I have fitted to my 'A' Plus engine and no leaks.

Yes it is a tight fit above the starter motor but it will fit without fouling anything.
or you can fit these if the end of the gauge flexible pipe is suitable:-

The thread in the block could be NPT-at least it is on the Midget 1275 engine. There is an NPT to BSP adapter available-Part no.: CAM6431 from Brown & Gammons
