Quick question peeps - Can an 803cc cylinder head with all its rocker gear and valves be fitted as a straight swap to a 948 engine?

Yes it can.
The same head was used on the 803cc and 948cc engines though they may have different casting numbers i.e. 2A628, 12A1456 or 2A629.
