Can anyone remember who made the bracket to fit the coil onto a alternator same as dynamo.thanks

Could be how does it bolt on to block thanks

It just replaces the dynamo mounting bracket and uses the same two bolts that secure the dynamo mounting bracket.

I have this on mine. it's a great design!

Having broken down twice on the A1, and eventually tracing it to a broken solder connection inside the coil, I moved my coil from the dynamo back onto the bulkhead where they started from.
I decided that the vibration of being mounted on the engine was going to be a much higher frequency than the bodywork, so why risk another coil vibrating itself to death....

I had the exactly the same problem as Geoberni about 6 weeks after moving my coil to the alternator. It's now back on the bulkhead.
