As an lcv owner I have no idea of the value of this model, and suspect the usual price variations. However as a guide to a friend I know, can someone familiar with this model, make a suggestion? I’ve had a look at the car, it’s in remarkably good order, good panel fit, with nice interior, and apparently all the right bits. I know the difficulty but maybe a ball park figure?

Without even a photograph it is almost impossible to value any car. It won't be a "lowlight" which would have some novelty value. I'd have thought the market for such a car would be small as it is rather specialised. Bryan "Sparesman" has been trying to sell a very nice example of that model for ages. It is listed, again, in the for sale section.

Yes I did acknowledge the difficulty, just thought I might get an idea. Not to worry. Should have looked at Cars for Sale! I would then have seen the one you mentioned. £6000 is my ball park figure then!

I agree with 'Manyminors', they are not as popular as some of the later models. I happen to like them, as my first ever car was a 1952 Minor sidevalve 2 door, KWF 904. If some photos of key areas of the car were available, then maybe a ballpark figure could be possible. To me in the current market, a really good one would be £4/5K. A good running and tidy vehicle with no corrosion, £1.5/3K. One complete, running, but needing some work £1/2K, and a nail, £200/500.

Appreciate your reply, I’m not inclined to get too involved, as I’m not sure how far my friend wants to take this. Interesting to note that they might be less popular than some models.

I wouldn't think so Les. That is the ASKING price for an exceptionally good one with very low mileage and which Bryan has been trying to sell for a long time. The fact that is HASN'T sold for £6,000 suggests that your friend is unlikely to get that sort of figure for his

Right, after some misunderstandings, the car in question is for sale. I have been sent pictures and will post in the For sale section.
