Hi all I'm fitting a HIF44 Carb onto my engine via Mg metro intake manifold,does anyone know where I can get a longer choke cable,at the moment I have a new original 32" outer sleeve length had it from ESM very grateful for help..Glyn

I heard somewhere that an MGA choke cable will do the job, but you would need to check.

Had the same issue when fitting the HIF44 to my midget, pretty sure I used a 36" Mini choke cable. Try any of the Mini parts suppliers.

Thinking about it the midget problem was probably the accelerator cable, but same solution applies - look at Mini spares as the cable ends are usually the same.

Speedy Cables for me too if you cant get a mini one the length you need.

How long would you like it sir? that'll do nicely. Ring them to confirm what you want and how much it will cost and then just send the old one off.
