Brake master cylinder replacement tool

If there is one tool that I have acquired over the years that must be worth its weight in gold it has to be this one.
It makes what can be a difficult and frustrating job so easy! :D
Namely the removal of the retaining bolts for the brake master cylinder.
This hand made tool simply presses the torsion bar aside and you can just slide the bolts straight out! :P

It also saves any need for a fresh 'discussion' on here, as to the merits of which way round to replace said bolts, for ease of removal next time!
Thanks to this it probably only took me just over half an hour to swap out the master cylinder for a new one.
So glad I have this, I thought I'd post it up, as anyone with basic welding skills could make one, it'll save you so much hassle.
Best wishes,
Mike.

Hi,
See images below.
Please excuse my sloppy writing and arrow lines though, I very rarely use the 'draw' facility.
The 'Note' point is that there are two knobs at the end of the lever arm, presumably to stop it slipping out from the torsion bar.
Bolt head size is 1/2" and the length of the bolt through the lever bar appears to be cut to 2 5/8".
I hope this is of some use to people.
Best wishes,
Mike.

No problem, I was assuming you could work with 'feet and inches' being you're into classic cars.
And if you make any up to sell, mines a real ale at the next National! :D
Best wishes,
Mike.
