engine storage

hi again
i'm looking to store my new rebuilt engine what is the best way to keep it lubed!
don't really what to fill it up with oil or is that the best way ?
I was thinking of using some assy lube/oil just to keep things lubed
would blank any open holes etc

Hopefully the engine builder smeared all moving contact faces with engine build fluid which will take care of that side of things.
Spray fogging fluid into the engine. This would normally be done with the engine running and the spray continued until the engine stopped. This can be done with the engine being turned over by hand (plugs removed).

Close all entries into the engine with oiled rags, blanking plates or duck tape.
I have seen a blanking plate for sale on 'e' bay that covers the inlet and exhaust openings. If I can find it I will post a link.
Turn the engine over three compressions on a regular basis - no more than three so as not to put the same valve springs under compression..
Smear all machined surfaces with grease or fogging oil.
Spray fogging oil into the water galleries of the block so as to help stop internal corrosion. It can always be cleaned out at a later date.
Store the engine off the ground and above the local condensation level.
