Regional price variations

Nothing to do with cars, but in a village in Suffolk, we see a pub that is offering two 2-course meals for £12.00. On a visit to London, we saw a pub offering a single "fish and chips" for £21.00. Conversely, a friend of ours travelled around forty miles on her Oyster card for £3.50, whereas a five mile local bus journey would cost me £4.50. What fun one could have with statistics on variations and value like those. :-?

And no doubt prices will rise using the Covid-19 virus as an excuse. A loaf of bread rose from £1.40p to £2.00 overnight my son reported (in Boscombe, Dorset)
Whilst we can expect some rises, but it's a fine line before it becomes exploitation.
