Thank you for the information.
Looking at the Minor lights it does look possible to replace the bulb holders. But at the moment I have not found a source of the bulb holders. I will continue to look and if I get a result will post on here.

Thing is the bulb holders look like there sealed to unit, I thought they would have pushed out somehow.
So in the past would owners have to buy the whole unit?

Let's turn this around.
Why do you want to take the bulb holders out?
Is this just a curiosity question or have you got a problem?
My car is the earlier lights, so no personal experience of this particular unit, but I feel there is no reason to remove the holder, it's metal so should be OK.
It might be possible to adapt a regular bulb holder to make a repair, but what's the actual problem you're trying to fix?
