Exactly the same as you have fitted already.
Because the size of the engine has been increased it does not mean that you have to install a different radiator cap and thermostat. The 1275cc engine will not produce any more cooling system pressure or additional heat.
Therefore a 4psi radiator cap and a 82 C thermostat is all that is required.

Thanks
The rad cap that is fitted to my 1275 engine is 7 psi
It was from a midget I think but it’s been rebuilt by a company called Ivor Searle and they have fitted their own serial number so I’m not sure what it came from.
I wasn’t sure whether to stick with 7 or fit a 4
I have no issues with the one I have other than some buffoon has painted it
Regarding the thermostat I’m not sure what I’m going to find but I was hoping to buy one before I strip it out

A 7 psi cap is perfectly acceptable.
If you are not sure what vehicle the 1275cc engine is originally from just post a picture of the engine and it will become clear what vehicle the 1275cc engine came from.

I’m not sure I can show enough detail for you Phil

Enough detail to confirm you have a 1275cc Midget/Sprite engine fitted.

So an 82C thermostat and a 7 psi cap
Is that right Phil ?

The 82 C thermostat and 7 psi radiator cap are more than suitable.
