No pictures

Hi is it me or is there a malfunction, I have looked at a couple of posts for information and all the attachments are missing. This seems to be on posts prior to Nov 2017.

It seems that the whole site is set to malfunction just when you least expect it.
Then we are threatened with an upgrade.
Although once upon a time this was the upgrade.................. :wink:
I think someone on here blamed the ghost in the machine, although he swears he is innocent and was in fact discussing Waterloo with the 1st Duke of Wellington at the time.......

Thanks Mike and Mike for the info. could you point me in the direction of how to add images to posts, most of what I can see on here seem to be from a very long time ago :roll:
ps please concider that your talking to a novice with regards to computers.

Instructions for Windows PCs
1) Make sure that you have the photo that you want to post available on your PC. The photo should be a file such as car.jpg
2) When posting a reply, type your text as normal, and then at the bottom of the screen, click on the attachments tab:

3) Then click the button “Add Files”

4) A window will open that will allow you to browse your PC. Locate the picture that you want to include and double click on it. You will now see the file name shown on the tab:

5) Now click the “Place Inline” button.

6) If you now preview the post, you’ll see the picture in the post. Remember submit the post as well or it will disappear!
