Has Rob Thomasson gone from MMOC?

Hi, I saw a new name in MMOC ref technical issues, I’ve been used to seeing, and using, Rob Thomasson for many years, he has supplied good clear info for me on maintaining my Traveller.
I don’t keep as close an ear to the ground that I used to, Does anyone know if / where Rob has gone?

He’s “resigned” according to the magazine.

Think Simon (Simmitc) has taken over, one of the most difficult jobs in the Club.

I noticed that the regular tech pages was missing. Clearly putting all that together is a lot of work but I hope they will reappear. In the interim, why not simply reprint some tech pages from way back?

Tech Tips was always my favourite feature of Matters; and not just because for many years Rob and I were colleagues in the same (non-automotive) organisations.
The puzzling faults was particularly enlightening.
I believe there was once a CD compilation of Tech Tips; but no longer available?
However I'd imagine that most members keep their old Minor Matters. So all(!) it needs is for someone to compile an Index of the topics. Maybe this already exists.

Speaking to the MMOC office in Derby last year I was assured that the CD was still available even though not listed in Minor Matters.
