Pinion seal replacement Morris 1000

I was pleasantly surprised that ESM have not only the seal but the sleeve to cover the wear. No use replacing a pinion seal without it, if its grooved where the seal runs. I don't think crush spacers had been invented back then, at least I hope not as it makes it easier to retorque tighten the flange.

Nice vids, thanks very much. Im amazed that the crush pinion bearing spacers have been around so long. Anyway replacing a diff pinion seal, is no big deal, as Ive done heaps, and try to keep the re tension sensible. I love all the tech bits, and Ive done a few diffs in my 60 odd years of mechanical. Remember the red lead? That was pretty standard back in my early days
