Hi, might be getting a escort rear end but its from a 1.0, how much power will it take, is this the wrong one to go for?

If it's the Timken axle (diff removed from the front) then the diff should cope with around 170 BHP... If you are putting that sort of power through it though, I would fit RS2000 halfshafts.
