modified relay shaft

I have had a PM request for details in fitting the 1275cc Midget engine and gearbox and the clutch linkage / modified relay shaft.
As currently a picture or drawing cannot be attached to a PM I am putting the details on here.
You can use the 1275cc clutch release arm and avoid the hydraulic system by utilising the Midget slave cylinder operating rod. You need to thread the end of the Midget slave cylinder rod and cut back and thread the Minor operating pull rod to suit. Using a threaded sleeve (with lock nuts) to join the two gives a good clutch mechanism with reduced pedal pressure when incorporating the modified relay shaft.
I would also advise replacing the rubber bush at the outer end of the relay shaft with either a poly bush or Minor Mania hard plastic bush.
