Advice please for Nickel Plating

I like to know, how to do Nickel Plating at home .

want to say i dont know any about chemicals & setup of it .

All cutting, buffing tools i have

Anyone know it , please help me step buy step , (i can give you my email for send setup )

And have any diffarent of the chorme & Nickel plating ? Only same words ?

Nickel plating was used prior to chrome and nickel is the base plating for chrome. Chrome is actually clear. The color comes from the nickel under plating and the shine comes from the chrome. Good nickel plate will also have a copper under plate for good adhesion on steel. Plating requires tanks of various of liquids, most of them are acids. Plating operations are big environmental problems for the bath disposal and water treatment for the rinse water between baths. There are different types of nickel plating systems and I don't know the specifics. I just wanted to give you the big picture.

I have never tried them myself but they seem quite popular albeit varying in price quite a lot.
I would be interested to hear how they perform as I have wondered about using them for plating the bright steel parts on my model steam engines to protect them from rusting.
