I have a 1971 ex BT van and feel that I will need to replace the rear Springs ! Now as the van will never be required for carrying any heavy load do i really need the 8 leaf heavy duty Springs or would the Traveller Springs be ok ?

Traveller springs would probably be fine, give a far smoother ride

The front eye of the top leaf of the van spring eye is larger therefore the traveller springs will not fit.

Thanks for that. I presume the Polyurethane bushes will be better also

I would always recommend the use of Poly Bushes but it will not make the ride any softer.
