Torsion Bar update

Bar had snapped where the threaded section joins the spline section
It was a doggy bar not a Marina conversion
No damage to cross member
With help from a mate we have replaced bar with one from ESM
Problem now is we can't seem to get ride height right, think we got confused where it says about setting the lower arm to 5 5/8 inch, think we set the back part of the lower arm to this, but afterscratching heads a few times and being the age of forgetfulness we couldn't remember.
The height now sits at 18cm between arch of wing and top of wheel
Sorry about pics but can't seem to get them at right angle

A couple of points:-

Was the replacement torsion bar new or S/H? If it was new you may experience a difference in ride quality on the side that the bar has been replaced as it has to bed in/settle to normal.

If the bar was S/H was the bar fitted to the same side as it was fitted to the doner vehicle? Torsion bars do not like being twisted the other way to what it has been used to. See wksp man note above.
