Paint questions

Ok sorry to be so stupid.

I have removed all 4 wings, replaced front drivers side, primed all fully sprayed rear and inside of front. I have re-fitted front wings but plan to finish all of the car and then re-fit rear wings with new piping. my worry is that when orrering up the rear wings there appears to be some big gaps. I have ground off some inappropriate filling after removing the wings but am worried about the final fit together.

My other query is the strips on the bonnet, they were very corroded, I have removed, sanded and primed. Should they be painted and fitted or fitted and then bonnet sprayed.. This bothers me as I have already sprayed the bonnet.

Finally the pinstriping

originally this was in paint, On this car it was a stick on strip.

What is best and is it something to ask the paint shop to do?

Thanks

The rear wings, you will have to inspect the gaps and work out whats going on there, unless you can post some pictures of the problems. body filler may help you out here.

the strips on the bonnet are ali, so if they have been striped to the metal you will need to use etch primer on them. then they can be painted in the same paint as the bonnet. i would paint them seperatley, it help with final polishing of the bonnet and then fit the strips after waxing the bonnet.

the pin strips gets lots of discussion here, which ever you prefere.try your hand with a thin brush, stick 3m pinstriping tape on, or find a sign writer.

You can buy masking tape for pinstripes it has a removable centre section. There is also a pinstriping tool that i think is sold by Frosts.

Thanks for the tips.

The wings fitted better than they looked when offered up and the new piping made it all look good. :D
