Non Standard Colour

My 1970 Traveller looks great, I describe the colour as British Racing Green, it is NOT the normal Green.
I am always being told there are companies who can analyse a small sample of the car (like the glove compartment door) and come up with a definitive name/make of the colour. Can anyone help? I need to touch up some blistering!

Pretty much any body shop or accident repair centre will have a spectrophotometer although you could call ahead to be sure. It's good practice to get it checked and paint mixed to match your car even if it is a "standard" colour.

I've done as you suggest and taken off the glove box door and left it with them but only because the battery was dead on their machine. It only takes a few minutes to slap it on a panel and get a reading under normal circumstances.

You cannot beat the old colour slips and no batteries to go flat either. :D
