Has anyone modified their steering column to incorporate adjustable rake?
If so, wat was the donor?
IF not, can anyone think of a suitable donor for the top half of the rack? Something in-keeping and ideally with a spline pattern the same as the Minor.

I have never done it but the dolomite would probably have the same spline pattern as the moggy.

Although it wouldn't exactly be adjustable in the true sense or the word, if you know how much you want to lower the column, the bracket attaching it to the dashboard could have a spacer of the appropriate thickness fitted in between. Years ago Minis had an option lowering bracket for that purpose.

HI
Here in Oz, it is very common to install Ford Lazer, Mazda 323, Mazda 626, Ford Telstar steering columns. The splines match (although some have a master spline that has to be ground off--easy job). Those columns have modern switch controls and a steering lock. They also have a universal joint and they are collapsible, giving a safety bonus. I think all of them are adjustable, but you would need to check.
