first time overhauling fuel pump

hi everyone. i am attempting to overhaul my fuel pump on my 1970 moggy. it doesnt tick when the ignition gets turned on. it starts ok but after a short while it dies. ordered new points and diaphragm. anyone got a link to a thread on instructions on how to take pump apart and replace said bits? thanks in advance

Assuming you still have the original SU fuel pump then Haynes Manual covers disassembly, inspection and reassembly. You may also find information on the SU/Burlen website sucarb.co.uk/
