So according to the description, the photos are misleading, since
The wings, doors and windows have all b ... h the car.

It states
The original, gold sealed 801cc engine
So call me picky but as I understand it, the Gold Seal, and Silver Seal, were replacement BMC reconditioned engines of their day, so not the original at all. Though it's perhaps in better condition than the original.

Sounds like not so much a 'Project', as the leftovers after they have taken what they wanted.

Space I could store it in to get the last few bits off...

This one might be of more use:

At least it's got all the wings, doors and windows, even if the centre pillar is missing!

Yes, let's hope someone takes it who will lovingly restore it. I'm assuming it's around '52-54.

I did think about it to salvage the roof to form into a hardtop for our Lowlight. A bit too far from Cardiff so it would cost maybe another £150 to move it here. :(

(The first car, not the other one)

The second car - what that dog looks like it just did (mistook a car for a tree) won't help restore it! :o

I might be getting cynical, but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see either of these cars eventually emerging fully "restored" with later body shells.

It's not been on a SORN, just untaxed since 1980, so been stood there 38 years, that's longer than it was 'on the road' for ..... price now up the £510 :o

And 9 bids to date. Let's hope it goes to someone who will sensitively restore it rather than break it..........
