Corinne Libotte in France had this little mishap. Worth knowing about!

Wow
that's one heck of a fracture.
Was it an original or a recent purchase?
Do we know?

Is it the light or does that look an old break, may have been caused by careless use of a hammer trying to get the drum off at some stage.

Rob
Was that a Minor, Mini or AN other drum?

No habla Francais, but Corinne owns Minis and Minors and that looks like a Mini one to me. Even so, they all come from the same factories.
New drum and new underpants, methinks.

Skimmed with a sharp edged tool without any radius?

The drum can split like that if the drum has been very badly overheated which looks to be the case from its condition in the photo.
