I may be jumping the gun here, but is there a slight possability you
live in Scotland like myself. If so are you going to Irvine on June 5th.
I've just bought my second minor after a break of 15 years and looking forward to restoring it and getting it back on the road.

Yes - Stonehouse, Central Scotland - but on 5 June I will be winging off across the Atlantic for a few weeks R&R !!
I will be attending quite a few of the classic events - and have done for several years - but not the 'Minor Only' events. For various reasons i didn't go to East Fortune yesterday - but I will be going to Kittochside (East Kilbride) next Sunday - unless the weather is really bad. I will be using my Classic Mini until July - when I will swap the insurance to my 65 Traveller.

Err no - just behind the old Primary School. But I work in Coatbridge, at MSB ! And no - I didn't chap any doors about Cooper S !! Kittochside is the 'Country Life' Museum in East Kilbride - near Hairmyres Hospital. Phone them tomorrow on 0131 247 4377 (yes, Embra number) to see if you can get a late entry. It's free - in fact they give a £5 lunch voucher - and free entry to the museum. Good day out if the weather is dry !

Southern softie! Doesn't anyone else down here understand the lingo? OK, it's dialect, but it's been around since 1565...
PS Sorry, seems a bit rude, I was just astonished, didn't mean to be
