Hello,

Would a Wolsely 1500 steering wheel fit a 1968 Minor 1000 ?
They look similar to the pre 1963 Minor steering wheel but alot cheaper and more available.

They are EXACTLY the same as the Minor 1000 steering wheel fitted upto late 1964 and will therefore fit your later Minor 1000 too.
You will need the appropriate hornpush of course.

Sorry I'm not clear.
My Minor is registered 1968 but the wheel is for up to late 1964 vehicles.
If this is correct how will it fit a later Minor 1000 ?

Thanks

It will fit straight on, the splines are the same size.

You will need the correct horn push to fit the earlier steering wheel, the one from your two spoke Minor wheel will not fit the older wheel.
I have recently fitted one to my 1969 Traveller, it took all of 15 minutes to do.
