Claxon Horn

Looking to purchase a claxon horn (the old fashion noise aroogha sort of noise ) Ive heard most of the new ones are not that great or loud enough. Anyone know where to sorce a good one.

I bought mine on ebay for about £12 a while back and that's plenty loud enough!

Genuine vintage Klaxon horns fetch a high price even if they need restoring.
The reproduction ones are quite good if you cannot source an original.
My car has a Klaxon single note unit as its main horn and a motor driven Klaxet "OOHGAAH!" unit as a secondary horn.
Both were made in the 1940s and were restored in my shed to their former glory after many hours of work.
Keep an eye on Ebay for 12v models but avoid the grey 240v industrial models.
