Floor edge profile
Below is the rear inner floor edge panel I purchased recently. Am I correct in thinking I need to dress the rounded panel edge to be squarer so that I can fix the boxing panel to the top of it, and the outer sill to the face of it, or is it ok to leave as it is and weld the boxing panel to the top of the rounder section?

Re: Floor edge profile
The original floor was pressed rather more square than the repair panels are.....The best thing is to trial fit and trim off any excess as some adjustment of fit will nearly always be required for this area.
I think these later pressings which also have the two drain holes fit better than some of the old repair sections that were available for this area.
