Re: Nice description!
According to a few I fit the description, so I’d better not bid or kick its tyres. Lets get back to what I was doing.

Re: Nice description!
Even if I was in the market for another car I would never consider doing business with a stroppy character like this. What do they think they achieve with such ads?
Re: Nice description!
These types expect anyone who calls, to buy. If not they're time wasters. I wouldn't entertain responding to an advert using that expression. As to the other exclusions, it gives a good insight as to what sort of guy he is!
Re: Nice description!
I realise after the first post WWK number plate.. is he referring to that in some way?!

Re: Nice description!
Had a look at his previous sale items. Had a Vauxhall Vivaro listed, was a bit more polite on that listing stating “No Muppets or time wasters”.

Re: Nice description!
Ads like that make me be a w.... r! I just made an offer.... £7.50. I really hope I don't win.
Re: Nice description!
He’s now ammended his ad with fewer insults. Still not exactly welcoming though.
Re: Nice description!
Probably dawned on him that you don't sell cars with the type of description he originally used.
The time waster bit will put many off though, it's a form of intimidation.

Re: Nice description!
If I wasnt such a w...er I might of bid but I guess I dont fit the bidding criteria
Re: Nice description!
Since the relisting, you should be ok. Now you only need to be a non tyre kicker and/or a non time waster, other characteristics appear to be tolerated

I’d be tempted to go round there just to kick the tyres and wind him up

Would confuse the poor chap if you were a wine tasting time waster.

Re: Nice description!
Bit of a home-made hybrid. Glove-box lids with pushbutton locks...??? One each of an LHD and an RHD pre-1954 car...? Van or pickup bonnet...possibly later (not split-screen) type...? Later (not split-screen) rear wings and tail lamp chrome plinth. Front screen pillars don't look right. Split-screen looks a bit odd too. Bulkhead/dash top been hacked around perhaps to match bonnet....?

That's what I thought. I wonder what it's registered as? Insurance nightmare in case of a claim.

Re: Nice description!
It’s the kind of car Victor Frankenstein might have built from spare parts.
The concern I have is the advertised description.
Other than that if you have the parts lying around, why not?
