Oh dear. I'd have thought that would cost more to collect than the value of any useful parts.

Restoring a car can mean replacing a lot of parts, not sure how much original stuff would need to be saved to qualify before it became a rebuild/replica.

If you had the registration documents and one original hub cap, could you rebuild from spares and legally keep the same registration number?
