Just took the car out for a spin, first time since i rebuilt it. Now i have returned one of the rear brakes has locked on. Has anyone else experienced this after fitting a servo? do you think it is just a case of backing off an adjuster?
Cheers
Martyn

No - it's obviously seized up and will need stripping out and freeing off at the least - more likely renewing. It could also be that the hand-brake cable is binding in the sleeve and holding it on. But why fit a servo ?? It doesn't improve the braking - and Minor brakes are hardly heavy in the first place !

I only fitted the servo as it was included with all the parts I bought as a job lot. As our other minor already has one(fitted by previous owner) I thought it would be best to match the braking systems up. There are three of us who reguarly drive either of the cars so applying the same force in either car to get the same braking affect would surely be a good thing. (I know last yr i got in the tourer after driving the other with a servo, forgot about the brakes and nearly crashed into the back of a car!!!!Doh)
