Morris Minor Owners Club

Hi there, I've acquired an old but unused cigarette lighter that I thought about installing for fitting a satnav lead or electric tyre compressor. Can anyone please advise or provide a wiring diagram? My car is a 1957 4 door morris minor 1000 saloon, with an alternator & negative earth? Thank you in advance.

For the power or positive on the cig lighter, if you want it on all the time wire it to the purple leads on the fuse box. If you want it on only with the ignition then wire it to the green wires on the fuse box. For the earth just use a local earth near where you are mounting it.
