Hi My Friends
have you use DM2 Side entry Cap for 25D distributor without any problem ? I have seen 25D/25D4 Distributor with DM2 side entry cap , what you think about that , is it wrong ?

Both top and side entry caps will fit a Lucas 25 D distributor. They where fitted to a number of classic cars in their day and work perfectly well.
If you were wanting to swop over the type of cap then the issue to consider is the " length " of the HT leads from the cap to the spark plugs. You don't want the leads too tight / rubbing against other bits in the engine bay ( this would eventually lead to a damaged lead and misfires ).
Like most cables / hoses / electrical leads in a car you want " gentle " curves , no sharp bends or tight runs so that it rubs against other parts causing damage. At the other extreme , you don't want too much " slack " that it gets caught up in moving parts !

The side entry distributer cap can be used instead of the top entry cap on a 25D distributer.
