Cut and fitted all internal rear suspension frame, to fit now is the rear roll cage to tether into the frame, very happy with my basic tube notcher. Need to master for the roll cage.
Then need to send sample of roll cage welding off to get certified for racing.

Popped in shop on Sunday due to someone buying a load of moggy bits, it’s clearance time in the container, again….
Whilst waiting I started to assembly the gearbox, note to self don’t do jobs that need 100% attention, as a direct result I’ve jammed and seized the gearbox up, undo and redo!

Pickup of more powder coating, that’s the whole front end, guessing I’m assembling that this week….

Also found a seat that fits, well the car, needs some mods to fit me, but going to make a copy for the navigator, it’s a aluminium race seat from the US, very light and narrow. Will see how that goes.

Helped a neighbour our on a clients Cadillac did the front foot well and foot board, only the fab work, not welding someone ,else’s car.

Little updates, had overhaul in shop, built new welding/work bench. Awaiting a new layout which will separate shop into clean zone dirty zone, well that’s the plan.
A little practice brazing, need to practice more, RSR fuel filler cap assembled.
Shimmed water pump pulley and now all aligned up, need bottom bracket for the alternator, top found. Another job ticked off.
Again awaiting powder coating, since lockdown the building industry has gone bonkers, my little jobs are now back of the que, heyho

RSR filler cap. The start all the pipe work will be modded up by me, but built by some else probably by RAD fabrications.

Don’t know what internet your using but essentially, bigger, better stronger than production parts.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Group_4_(racing)

Does that mean then that every part described as a group 4 part is at least
a replica of that part that was homologated?
