Hi everyone,
I'm a new Minor Tourer owner and just thought I'd say how much help this forum has been to me. We have had two Minors in the distant past; a Tourer in Singapore in the late 60's and a 2-door Saloon in the late 70's which I only bought when I wrote our Volvo off. In those days they were just cheap affordable cars which is definitely no longer the case!
I sold my 1963 MG Midget a few months ago and now my Labrador is much happier with the extra space he has in the Morris. My wife also prefers it as it is a bit bigger and one doesn't feel as vulnerable in it as one did in the Midget! In fact the Minor could easily be a fine everyday second car - once the road salt has all been washed away!
Anyway we really look forward to the coming years attending rallies and events with the Dorset Group of Moggy owners.

Welcome from a fellow relative newbie. It's interesting how many of us are former Midget owners. My first car was a 74 Midget, my Minor is my first, although not in as good condition as yours, and is currently in the process of being stripped for a bit of welding. I'm not far from you in NE Somerset.

Welcome!

Did your Singapore car have air conditioning?

I've seen in in Sri Lankan moggies but unfortunately didn't take any pictures.

It's one of the more foolish items on my wish list for my present car.

No air con in my Singapore car, except when the hood was down!
