Hi my friend,

There is a misfire , I cant found , - when i slow the speed and change the gear from 3rd to 2nd the Engine Misfire and ok back.

So , I follow it , 1St i replace all sparking plugs, - then it work fine without misfire, but yesterday when i got the car , again it misfire.

Today I remove all plugs one by one and see what happen , then i see 1, 3, 4, plugs (count from rediator side ) are fine burning but 2nd one carbon on points (not oil )

I clean it - remove the distributor cap , check all leads using multimeter ( resistant ) no any problem - however I remove the 2nd ignition wire cut end and clean the screw too , reset. (Not check car yet)

I have done
1 check cabuletor oil -ok
2. Clean plot -ok
3. Distributor doc . Condenser
4. Coil is fine (ballast ressitor coil 12 v - 3 ohm with resister)
5. Clean air filtor
6. Check points.
7.Rotor , Red (not revet one
8. Fuel pump is fine

What are the wrong ? Do you think it come from the distributor cup? I just look it , same burning points(HT leads that screw set) , No any special on 2nd point.

Move the plug to another cylinder to determine whether it is the plug or remains with No.2?

As i say before, I change the plugs , then it work fine 2 or 3 days.

Again, as I said before, move the plug to another cylinder to check whether problem moves with the plug or stays with the cylinder. THAT will be the first check you should do. Simplest and easiest. Then go from there.

Run the engine in the dark and look to see stray sparks where there should not be sparks
