Minor pick up - 1975 (N-reg) ... really? Only explanation I can think of is it's ex-military, and found it's way onto civvy-street before the DVLA was fully up and running. N-reg was the last year that re-registrations reflected the year of re-reg, rather than the true vehicle age.

The second pick-up offered in the same listing, for restoration looks a bit suspect too. Allegedly a 1961 model, it has a few quite significant later features which can be explained, but the absence of clap-hands wipers is a puzzle...?

Having signed up in '74, I don't remember ever seeing pick-ups in military service, certainly not in RAF.
Only used to see Travellers used for roles like EOD, Recruiters or other odd roles, like Air Cadet Liaison duties.
Workplace 'Pick-ups' were just open top Landrovers!

The grey pick-up is plainly a very late one judging by the steering column lock but who knows the reason for the 1974 registration.
The rough one they have is probably really a 1971 with a misprinted age? Its specification fits with that and it looks to have been Aqua coloured previously? No registration plate visible is there? A lot of work for somebody though!

You'd have to be a lot suspicious. Might be a genuine story there, but buyer beware!

As ManyMinors says the rough one is most likely 71, has Austin chassis plate and appears to have started life as a van.

263244125982 is the number, but it doesn't seem to be linking. I looked for Morris Minor parts but couldn't see any from the photos except maybe the wheels.

It does plainly use a Morris Minor as its base. All the front chassis, the engine bay crossmember (to support the front dampers) and everything back to the centre crossmember are Minor - and indeed the front suspension and steering gear. Probably the rear axle is also used. The Minor engine and gearbox would fit straight in.......
Anyone tempted
