adding servo

Hi when adding a servo does it matter which outlet to use off the master cyl to the servo cyl inlet?
as im having trouble bleeding the brakes up.drums all round by the way.

also where it shows on that diagram above the one way valve surely it should be the other way round as if i point the arrow towards the servo it stops the suction from the carb manifold or have i got a weird one way valve?

You should seal the rear outlet, take a single pipe from the side outlet to the servo inlet and then split the servo outlet to feed both front and rea brakes so that all operate with the servo. The non-return valve has an arrow that indicates which way air can flow. You want it so that the manifold can such from the servo, so the arrow should point towards the manifold.

I'm sure you know that a servo will not makes the brakes more efficient, it simply reduces the effort needed to apply them.

Brakes are a safety critical item so all components must be in good condition, and if you are uncertain about fitting then seek further advice.

Thats absolutly a perfect reply thankyou it explains it all i got confused because the pic on the post headed "brake servo fit query" shows the arrow pointing towards the servo when it should show it pointing towards the manifold like you said so the diagram must be wrong?
