has anyone had this problem , i adjusted the shoes up after letting them bed in , one of them did not feel right when i tightened it up . i was tired and thaught ah well it will be ok , it wasnt went a mile down the road and a lovley noise was comming from one of the front wheels . it carnt have been sitting right , result snapped snail cam mask inside od drum scored and scored new set of shoes , we live and learn

If it is any consolation they do break even when fitted correctly.
The later snail cams and adjusters were beefed up with thicker metal for the carrier (Pt No: AAA421) and a larger dia pin on the snail cam (Pt No: AAA423) all done to help alleviate the breakage problem.
