Pickup Towing capacity ?

As the title says really... does anyone know what sort of weights a pickup minor can pull?
im going to uprate my engine and brakes/ suspension etc etc but as for the chassis and general size/ stability of the vehicle... what can they pull/ carry?

Rule of thumb is 85% of the vehicle's kerbside weight (i.e. its weight with full fuel tank etc, but with nobody sitting in it and nothing in the load area except spare wheel, jack etc). Pickup weighs approx 770kg so theoretically you can tow approx a trailer weighing approx 654kg fully laden. Uprated brakes, engine etc make no difference as its all done by weight, not power or braking power. The load area itself is designed to carry approx 300kg give or take. Early pickups were rated 6cwt payload, rising to 8cwt on later models.
You still won"t be able to tow another Minor safely!
