Morris Minor Owners Club

A friend recently recommended adding Slick 50 to the oil in our Minor. He said his engine ran cooler with it as his electric fan didn't cut in as much, presumably because of reduced friction.
I can see a few old posts on Slick 50 but does anyone have any recent experience using it in a Morris Minor?

Probably not worth bothering with. Especially on a minor. Is it worn out and using oil? If the engine is good the best thing you do is change the oil regularly. Minors seem to run cool anyway.
