Indicator bulbs
While checking the car (a 1968 Snowberry White convertible) prior to its MOT I noticed the rear near-side indicator bulb had blown. I replaced it with a new bulb but it still wouldn't work. Any suggestions as to why would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Indicator bulbs
Have a look inside the wing and in the engine compartment at the bullet connectors and check that the earths are all ok. Has any other work been done which may have disturbed them ? It may be a duff new bulb, not unknown. The later bulb holders, despite having rubber boots, tend to corrode inside and it is worth inspecting / cleaning / replacing as necessary. Finally or even firstly, check the fuses.
