You can get clip-on mirrors which clamp to the small quarter-light window. Not very useful if you drive with the quarter-light open, and there is a risk of the window glass getting broken if the mirror is hit, or even walked into by a careless pedestrian. All the other types require some form of drilling, either into wings or doors themselves. The most popular seem to be circular chrome mirrors supplied by Moss Europe. They can be fitted either to the wings or to the front lower corner of the window frames. Either way, drilling is needed.

Sandun,
I find the problem with the door mounted mirrors at the base of the quarterlight is that on the passenger side the vision is obscured by the front of the door frame. I could only see about two thirds of the mirror from the passenger seat. This could be due to my height and seat position.
To overcome this problem I made up my own mirror arm from 10mm stainless steel which moves the mirror back into full view.

Oh.... it is Good - the mirrors are placed on wings of my friend's car , it can catch nicely back look ,
I looked under my car for any Drill mark , No any hole mark , it is still original condition (the wings).

Probably not smart enough for saloon owners but for a lcv these tie rod arms give an improved rear view.
Oh dear looks like pictures are not available from photobucket now. They probably want money from me. Hope they're not holding their breath!----Money, money, money.

This was my solution to using the Lucas-style mirror on the passenger side door.

It is a wedge-shaped mounting block made from resin. It took some experimentation to get the angles right. I had not painted it when the photo was taken but it is now satin black to match the rubber mounting gasket.
