We're off on one in a few days time. My wife worries that the Internet connection may be poor. I have no intention of taking any device apart from my ancient Doro phone. And that's for emergencies only..pay as you go,about £25 a year.
Just kicking one out for amusement!
Always have a smartphone with us on holiday. Google is handy for maps, directions etc when in a strange town, especially abroad... and especially with no roaming charges now
It's difficult to find something positive to say about lying on a beach but I suppose it helps reduce the congestion on the roads over here! --------imagine what it would be like if sunbathers discovered the beauty of the Dales, Lake District, and numerous other national parks here!
Cycled to Hunstanton beach with my wife two years ago, first time we'd been in the area. We looked at each other and wondered why we spent twenty years taking the kids to terrible beaches in France?
North Norfolk for me is the best relaxing, walking holiday. The stretch of coastline between Hunstanton to Cromer has some of the best walks called the Peddlers Way, the nicest villages with the best scenery to cast your eyes over. If your a bird watcher then you are in for a treat.
My tip to anyone who has never been is to go but buy the relevant OS map, ditch the car and walk! There is also a regular coastal bus service so you can walk as far as you like then catch the bus back!
I am not a fan of going to the same place regularly but this area is an exception.
