I hope some one can help.I have had a garage fit me a bearing overhaul kit which I obtained due to noisy bearings. When they gave it a test run after fitting the kit the noise had gone but it kept jumping out of 3RD Gear something it had not done before. The garage suggested that I obtain a 3-4 speed fork, it looked worn and the associated balls and springs looked a bit suspect so these were obtained also. The Mechanic checked and double checked every thing fitted OK. It still jumps out of 3rd,they say it goes smoothly into 3rd if you take foot of accelerator then back on it jumps out.If you were to keep just a light finger pressure on gear stick it holds in till you remove finger. Does this make any sense to someone? its got myself and the garage stumped.
Thanks for any help.
Mike Ball.

Don't have the diagram with me but it seems like a detent ball has slipped out during the rebuild, ( easily done,I did it twice )
Hopefully someone else will post the diagram...
