I'm in Florida.
As I was filling up with gas (petrol), a gentleman admiring my 64 Saloon said there was a movie made in the 60's in which there was a town where ALL the cars were Minors.
Does anybody know of such a film? I have to watch it.

Unaware of a 1960s film but The Borrowers (1997) featured a village full of Minors.

Googled and Youtubed , There are plenty of publicity and documentary films of minors in 1960's Britain but not one that meets the description you have given. Mind you I would have like to have lived in such a place !

IMCdb isn't much help either

I'd sooner live in 'Borrowers land' with multiple Minors than in Privet Drive (Harry Potter first film). Identical houses each with a Vauxhall Vectra on the driveway!

It must be the borrowers he was thinking of. Did anyone lend a car for the filming ?

I always fancied the Leyland / BMC van used in the Borrowers (green one in the pics) Not even sure what model it is - must be mega rare... :)

They were the BMC (later Leyland) "EA" series. On the one in The Borrowers film they re-positioned the bonnet lettering so that it read DELLANY instead of LEYLAND  Did you find any pictures of the Morris Minor van that was also used?

Place I worked at in the late '70s used to repair EA vans on behalf of Royal Mail. Post Office mechanics habitually referred to them as "Jumbo's"

I don't recall seeing any on the road subsequent to Royal Mail disposing of theirs. Described elsewhere on the www as '1969-1975. Short-lived and unsuccessful'. Close to where I lived in south London there was (certainly until a year ago) a complete but very rotten one parked alongside a bungalow with a few derelict caravans for company.
