Hi has anyone fitted an electric oil pressure gauge to a minor ,I only remeber the mechanical ones in the 70s so wonder if the electric ones with the pressure sensor switch are ok

I have no experience of them but since aftermarket electrics are the least reliable part of any car and I've never had a mechanical gauge fail, I know which type I would choose

The mechanical oil pressure gauges are more reliable. I would have no other and Smiths Industries is the preferred item but not cheap new.
